About the AZ MELT Program
- Our AZ MELT (Mandatory Entry-Level Training) Program is your gateway to a successful career in commercial truck driving. Developed in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation's standards, our program goes above and beyond to ensure that you receive the highest quality training necessary to obtain your AZ license and thrive in the trucking industry.
Admission Requirements
- At Touchstone Truck Driving School, we welcome aspiring truck drivers from all backgrounds who are eager to pursue a career in the transportation industry. To ensure the success of our students and maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism, we have established the following admission requirements:
- Age: Be at least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License: Hold a valid Ontario class “G” license
- Language Proficiency: Grade 10 English or Equivalent
- Medical Fitness: Must pass MTO approved Medical Test
- Pass Knowledge Test: Must pass Written knowledge test of rules and signs of the road
